My artwork involves an always-evolving exploration of color, texture and pattern using salvaged and new leather to create abstract, mosaic-like compositions. I strive for each artwork to reflect my unapologetic love of color and the joy found in the process of arranging it. I draw inspiration from traditional and contemporary quilt patterns as well as the natural world.
Maebel jewelry is designed to be minimal but not subtle. Every piece is designed and handcrafted (by me!) with care and a focus on prioritizing the use of salvaged leather along with laser cut acrylic and unique brass components. Wearing Maebel jewelry allows you to be bold yet lovely, simple yet unique.
